Hard drive and raid card (cable) compatibility?
I have an Adaptec ASR-2405 raid controller and a Seagate Cheetah 15k.5 ST3300655SS hard drive. Questions are, are these devices compatible? And if so, what type of cable is required to connect them?

You need an SAS cable. Your Adaptec card should have one. If not try here:
