How much memory should I install in my desktop?
My computer said my virtual memory was to low. The computer came with a 512MB. Going to install two 512MB and two 1GB modules. There are slots in the computer for them but is this too much? What slots should I put them in too? 1GB in first slot?

I would go with the 1gb in your first slot…..and just try all the ram at once..if its too much the most that will happen is it wont boot up…in which case just slowly go lower with the ram until you find a capacity that will fit it.
