laptop led-backlit display ?

Does anyone have a laptop with the led-backlit display?
do you think its better than a regular laptop display?

The brightness can be turned up much higher than on a regular display so you can work outside in the sun (for the most part). I haven’t really noticed any improvement in picture or color quality. It’s also supposed to be more efficient and prolong battery life but I haven’t really tested that yet.

what type of vga cord do I need to fit a 27″ lcd screen without the ratio being 4:3, I would like for it to be 16:9 ratio?

The resolution and aspect ratio makes no difference to the cable.

The higher the resolution the higher the cable quality needs to be to produce a clean image.

The aspect ratio of the image is determined by the system.
